Professional Bio - Otha Myles, MD
Internal Medicine/Infectious Disease Specialist
Dr. Myles earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. He served in the U.S. Army Medical Corps at Walter Reed Army Medical Center (Washington, D.C.) and completed research at the U.S. Military HIV Research Program (Rockville. Maryland). After separating from the U.S. Military Medical Command, he was Attending Physician and Assistant Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine (University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore). He returned home to Missouri in 2013 to start the Infectious Disease Clinic at Mercy Hospital.
Dr. Myles is a specialist in internal medicine and infectious diseases. He manages patients with infections of the bloodstream, bone and joint, central nervous systems, fungal, lower respiratory tract, skin, and urinary tract. He has a special interest and additional training in HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases.
He is currently accepting new patients for internal medicine (primary care) and infectious disease consultations.

Reshaunda Thornton MS, RD, LD, CSSD, is a wellness dietitian and owner of BetterVessel Nutrition and top 5 ranked dietitian in St. Louis. She has over the last 12 years in nutrition and exercise where her work involves individual nutrition consultation. She has multiple affiliations with the local St. Louis FOX2News as the nutrition expert with over 80 segments. She was also a recent St. Louis TEDxGateway Arch speaker in 2019. She is the author of the self-help, nutrition book called Play to Win the Food Fight. And lastly, she has a thriving podcast show "The Dietitian Against Diets". Her mixture of passion and expertise has allowed her to change lives in an impactful way as she brings energy and creativity every time.
Texas native and fitness enthusiast, Reshaunda Thornton has received two Bachelors of Science from Stephen F. Austin State University in Biology and a minor in Psychology. Kansas State University in Nutrition & Dietetics and a Masters in Human Nutrition concentrated in Sports Performance from Logan University.
